Fresh off its recent run at the Arkansas Repertory Theatre and directed by Arkansas native Stephen H. Broadnax III. A "roof-raising" (NYTimes) celebration of gospel, rhythm, blues, and rock. The story chronicles Arkansas's own Sister Rosetta Tharp at her first rehearsal with a young protégée, Marie Knight, as they prepare for the tour that would establish them as one of the great duos in music history.
